JADE cooperates with Tongji University by using its scientific research accomplishments on ‘Urban pollution control technology’ to solve the solid waste pollution problems and to recover energy resource by pyrolysis process.
Core technologies
Biomass pyrolysis (also called cracking) usually refers to the process of biomass being heated without adding oxygen, water vapor, or heated CO₂ in the reactor, resulting in the decomposition of molecules into fuel (gas, liquid, and carbon black). Degradation under anoxic conditions results in a decrease in exhaust gas emission which benefits the reduction of secondary pollution to the atmospheric environment. Meanwhile, the majority of the hazardous ingredients like sulfur and heavy metals in the waste are fixed in the carbon black. The output from pyrolysis varies significantly upon different pyrolysis temperature.
